- Monitor CPU temperature: The processor temperature should generally not exceed 70 degrees. The CPU temperature can be easily monitored on a PC using tools such as the motherboard monitor.
- Protect your PC from the sun: Your computer should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Therefore, make sure that the PC is not near a window through which there is direct sunlight during the day.
- Checking and cleaning the fans: To ensure that your PC does not overheat, you should check the functionality of the fans and clean them if necessary. In our practical tips guide we show you the details. The fan should also not be covered from the outside so that the air can circulate without problems.
- Clean the inside of the PC from dust: It is advisable to clean the inside of the PC, especially in warmer temperatures. To do this, however, you should have the relevant specialist knowledge or, if possible, get help from a friend who is familiar with the inner workings of computers.

- Optimize air circulation: In order not to disturb the air circulation, you should not place your PC directly next to a wall. In addition, the front and back should not be covered.
