Burn PDF to CD - Here's how
If you want to burn your PDF files to a CD, additional software is not absolutely necessary. We show you how it works with simple means in just a few steps.
Windows: Burn PDF files to CD
Note: This instruction may not work under older Windows versions. In this case, use the instructions in the next paragraph.
- First, insert a blank CD into your computer's drive.
- Now press the [Windows] and [E] keys simultaneously so that the Explorer opens.
- Go to the "This PC" category on the left and double-click to select the DVD.
- Activate the "Like a USB stick" option and click on the "Next" button at the bottom right.
- Now you can simply drag any files - including PDF files - into the window. The data is burned automatically.
Transfer PDF files to CD using burning software
- If you are using a slightly older version of Windows or are looking for an alternative way, you can also transfer the PDF files to the CD using special burning software.
- The two programs Ashampoo Burning Studio and CDBurnerXP are completely free and offer all the important functions for burning.
- If you have to choose between different variants, always select the "Data" option or a "Data CD".
