Image processing programs optimize the brightness and contrast of PDF documents
- Open your PDF document, for example in Gimp.
- Then click on "Colors" in the Gimp menu bar and there on "Brightness / Contrast".
- You can move the sliders to adjust the brightness and contrast to your liking.
- Save the changes with "OK".
- Then go to "Export" via "File" and select the format "Portable Document Format PDF" under "File Type".
- Finally, confirm with "Export".
