Create PDF write protection with Adobe Acrobat
Adobe Acrobat has excellent write protection for your PDF files:
- Open the PDF file with Adobe Acrobat and select the "Tool" bar on the right.
- Click on "Protection" and select "Restrict editing".
- Now set a password for write protection and save the document.
- After you have saved the document, the write protection is automatically effective.
