Convert PDF to Word document - how it works
When you convert a PDF file to a Word document, you can easily edit the text in it. To do this, you need a special program:
Convert PDF to Word: Free PDF to Word Doc Converter
With the free tool "Free PDF to Word Doc Converter" you can convert any PDF files into Word documents. Almost all formatting and designs are retained.
- Download Free PDF to Word Doc Converter, install the program on your computer and open it.
- Under "Select PDF-File for conversion" click on "Browse" and select the desired PDF file from your PC.
- Under "Output Doc File" you can specify a storage location by clicking on "Browse". By default, the document is saved in the same folder as the PDF file.
- Under "General Options" you can choose whether the tool should convert all pages or only a certain section and which font it should use.
- Deactivate or activate the "Retains shapes and images" option to adopt or deactivate images and designs from the PDF.
- With the option "Uses Text-box" you can choose whether Word should then display the text as continuous text or in individual text fields. If you leave this option selected, the formatting is better retained. However, you can no longer edit the document so easily. So rather convert the file to body text by deactivating the option. If it is a form, a table or a text with many bullets and captions, you should leave the option activated.
- Click on "Convert to Word Document" to start the conversion. As soon as the process is complete, the Word file opens automatically.
With the free version of the program you can convert up to three documents. You will then need to get a just-for-one-use code from the manufacturer's website for each document. The full version of the tool currently costs around 15 euros. In the next article we will show you how to convert your Word document back into a PDF file.
