Remove PennyBee - Here's how
If the PennyBee adware has reached your system, you should remove it as soon as possible. The troublemaker does no damage to the system, but it ensures that additional advertising is displayed in your web browser. In this article, we show you how to do this.
Remove PennyBee by uninstalling it
In most cases, PennyBee gets onto the PC unnoticed during the installation of programs. The first thing to do is to remove most of the adware. This works just like uninstalling common software:
- Open the Windows Control Panel and click on "Programs and Features". Classic view users click on "Uninstall a program". You can find more information in this practical tip.
- Look for an entry called "PennyBee" in the list of installed programs. Double click on it to start the deinstallation.
- It is possible that the entry has a different name and cannot be found easily. You should also uninstall other suspicious programs. It can help to sort the list according to the installation date.
Remove PennyBee from the browser
Next you need to remove PennyBee from your web browser. There the software may have established itself as an add-on and also changed the standard search engine and start page.
