Enter period characters in Word - how it works
For mathematical formulas in particular, it can be important to use a period symbol in documents. You can find out how to enter it in Word here. Unfortunately, this is only possible via detours.
How to enter the period character in Word
- Go to the "Insert" tab in the Word menu.
- Then select "Object".
- Now click on the "Create new" tab in the newly opened window.
- Decide in the selection list for the »Microsoft Formula Editor«.
- With the button »Templates for underlines and overlines« you can now enter the required period characters as "overline".
