There are several sites on the Internet where you can report phishing. This is most effective on Google's "Safe Browsing" page. The data that comes together on this website does not only benefit Google users. Manufacturers of other browsers also have access to the messages. That's how it works:
- Open the "Safe Browsing" page in your browser.
- Now copy the exact URL of the phishing page and paste it into "Safe Browsing".
- Then you have to activate the box "I am not a robot". If you want, you can also leave a comment. Then the message can be sent.
- Google then checks to see if this is really a phishing website and uses this information to warn other users.
