Photoscape: Superimpose pictures - how it works
In this practical tip, we will show you how to overlay images with Photoscape.
Layer photos with Photoscape
Open Photoscape and select the menu item "Image editing". Then follow the steps below.
- Click on "Menu" at the bottom right and select "New Photo". In the following window you define the size of the drawing sheet and the color. Confirm the settings with "OK".
- The left display shows your files and the folder structure. Click on the folder with your pictures there. Select the image below that you want to use as the background.
- The image is automatically inserted into the editing area. Click on the "Object" tab in the lower menu and there on the "Mountains and Sun" icon to insert another image. Use "Photo" to look for the second picture on your hard drive.
- A window opens in which you can set the transparency of the image. Here you either change the value 255 manually or move the slider to your desired transparency level. Save the change with "OK".
- In this way you can overlay any number of images and achieve special effects.
