Photoscape: the best tips
In this practical tip, we provide you with the five best tips for the free photo editor, Photoscape.
Tip 1: Edit multiple photos at once with Photoscape
- To be able to edit several photos at once in Photoscape, select the item "Batch processing" at the top of the screen.
- Use the file explorer at the top left of the screen to navigate to the corresponding folder. Drag and drop individual images from the left to the center.
- On the right margin column you can set filters, create frames or change the size. By clicking on "Edit all" you can save your pictures in the desired quality in a folder.
Tip 2: Remove red eyes with Photoscape
- To remove the annoying red eyes from an image, first open the corresponding photo in Photoscape.
- Click on "Tools" in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen and select "Red Eyes".
- Mark with the left mouse button pressed the area in which the red eye is located. The process can be repeated any number of times.
Tip 3: Create collages with Photoscape
- To create collages with Photoscape, click on "Album page" in the program's start menu.
- There are numerous design templates available on the right-hand side of the screen from which you can select your favorites.
- Photos can be inserted by drag & drop from the left sidebar and provided with frames or filters. Click the "Save" button to save the finished work on your hard drive.
Tip 4: Pixelate faces with Photoscape
- To pixelate faces with Photoscape, open the corresponding image and click on "Tools".
- Select the "Mosaic" tool and, depending on the image, determine how strong or weak the pixelation should be.
- Then, hold down the mouse button and mark the area to be pixelated.
Tip 5: Adjust exposure with Photoscape
- To adjust the exposure of photos with Photoscape, open the corresponding image in the image editing view.
- Under the "Home" menu item at the bottom of the screen, click the arrow next to "Backlight".
- For overexposed photos, choose between (+/-) 25 percent and (+/-) 200 percent depending on the image. To lighten dark pictures, choose a plus value from the upper half.
