Change eye color in Photoshop
This guide works with all current versions of Photoshop like Photoshop CS6.
- First, open the image you want to edit in Photoshop.
- Click on "Create new layer" at the bottom right of the screen.
- Select the newly created layer and select the lasso tool. Use it to draw a circle around one of the pupils. A rough outline is enough, the selection does not have to be exact.
- Click on the filling tool and select the eye color you want from the palette. Click the selection you made with the fill tool.
- Press the key combination [CTRL] + [D] to cancel the selection. Under "Layers", click on "Normal" and select "Copy to each other". Then adjust the opacity according to your ideas.
- Now select the eraser and place the cursor on the size of about a quarter of the marked pupil. Carefully remove the protruding edges on the edge of the pupil.
- Alternatively, you can also mark the pupil with the magnetic lasso tool, choose a soft selection edge and change the color using the slider under "Color balance".
- Finally, repeat the steps for the second eye.
