Photoshop: remove stubble - how it works
Face retouching with Photoshop is also available for men. For example, you can remove unsightly stubble. We show you how to do this in this small tutorial.
Retouch stubble with Photoshop - Here's how
You don't have to be a Photoshop professional to remove beard stubble. The image editing program provides a practical tool for this.
- Open the image in Photoshop. Since removing stubble is a detailed job, it's best to enlarge the area you want to start with.
- Now select the repair tool in the toolbar. You can find it under the Area Repair Brush Tool. Make sure that "Source" is marked in the upper bar for touch-ups.
- Now circle a small area with beard stubble and then drag it onto a skin area without a beard. The color of the beard-free area should correspond approximately to the selection area, otherwise the complexion will look blotchy later.
- Repeat this step until all irritating stubble is removed. You do not have to mark each whisker individually, but the selection should not be too large. Although this takes a lot of time, the result later looks like freshly shaved.
