Save Photoshop image as JPEG - so it'll work
With the photo editing program Photoshop you can save your photos in formats as diverse as JPEG, GIF, TIF or PNG. In this practical tip, you can read where you can select the different image formats.
The JPEG format in Photoshop
By default, Photoshop automatically saves all images or photos in Photoshop format. If you would like to have a different format for your images, such as JPEG, simply perform the following steps:
- First select "Save" or "Save as from" in the menu bar under "File".
- You can enter the file name in the "Save" menu and directly below this you will find a pull-down menu next to "Formats", in which you can find the most varied image formats and select them accordingly.
