With the photo editing software Photoshop you can easily combine several pictures. We use an example to show you how this works. Of course, you can combine as many pictures as you want in this way.
Combine pictures in Photoshop - so it'll work
Soft transitions lend themselves to making several images one. You can easily understand the steps in our picture gallery.
- Open Photoshop and create a new image of the desired size with a white background.
- Then open the graphics you want to put together. You can add and paste the images by copying and pasting. Make sure that each of the images has its own layer and that the background layer remains unaffected.
- Move the pictures so that you are satisfied with the division. The images should overlap slightly.
- Now it goes to the transitions. The easiest way to achieve this is with the delete tool. You set the size according to the size of your picture. The hardness should be 30%, the opacity should also be 30%. Now remove the border from the top layer so that you get a smooth transition. To get a better overview, set the layer property to "Multiply". This is how you see the levels below.
- Once you have roughly removed the edge, the fine work follows. To do this, set the level back to "Normal", the eraser to a hardness of 30% and increase the opacity to 100%. The size should be a little smaller for the finishing touch. Use these settings to delete any interfering overlays.
- The result should be pretty good now, but can be improved. To do this, switch to the lower level and select a foreground color that matches your picture. In our example, we chose a darker red. Activate the brush tool in a suitable size and with a hardness of 20%. The opacity should be 30%.
- Now draw the overlapped edge of the picture with the preset brush to make the transition even more beautiful and flowing.
