You don't need expensive Photoshop to correct the saturation. You can also easily do this in Photoshop Elements.
- Open your desired image in Photoshop Elements.
- Click the icon for "Create a new fill or setting level".
- There you select "Hue / Saturation". A new "Hue / Saturation" layer is created.
- Here you can use the slider to increase or decrease the saturation.
