Photoshop: Show guidelines (shortcut)
In Photoshop, you can hide and show guides using the program settings and a shortcut. We explain both variants in detail.
Show Photoshop guides using a shortcut
Guide lines in Photoshop give you clues as to where you can place objects or other images. This ensures that your inserted elements are always straight and centered.
- You can display the standard guidelines in Photoshop via "View"> "View"> "Guides". Alternatively, you can call up this grid using the key combination [Ctrl] + [H].
- If these guidelines are not enough for you, activate the entry "Intelligent guidelines" in the same menu. These are more precise and appear automatically at the required image point.
- Alternatively, you can create and save your own grid using "View"> "New help line".
