By default, the unit of measurement in Photoshop is set to centimeters. In this practical tip, we explain how to change this.
Photoshop: Change the unit of measurement for effective work
- Click on "Edit" in the Photoshop menu bar and select the "Preferences".
- There click on "Units and Rulers".
- In the "Units of measurement" section you can choose between various units of measurement in a drop-down menu under "Rulers".
- You can choose from pixels, inches, mm or dots. You can also have the dimensions displayed in pica or percent.
- Finally save the change with "OK".
