Photoshop doesn't start - you can do that
With the Photoshop program you can edit images and photos like a professional. If Photoshop does not start, there can be many reasons for this - but the problem can usually be solved by yourself. Find out in this practical tip how to get Photoshop working again.
Photoshop doesn't start - what to do?
Photoshop can often not be started due to insufficient hard disk space.
- You can therefore try to uninstall programs or empty the Recycle Bin.
- Alternatively, you can move files and documents to a second hard drive or USB stick to make room.
- It can also help if you clear Photoshop's cache. To do this, you must permanently delete the contents of the "256" and "1024" folders under "AppData \ Roaming \ Adobe \ Bridge".
- Then restart your PC so that the memory can be used again.
- Finally, you should start Photoshop with the key combination [CTRL] + [ALT] + [SHIFT] so that the Preferences are deleted.
