Do you encounter the error "Physxloader.dll missing" when trying to start a computer game like Metro 2033 or Two Worlds 2? There can be only two reasons: Either Nvidia PhysX is not installed on your PC or there were problems installing the Physik Engine software. This can usually be remedied by reinstalling the computer program - sometimes it gets a little tricky.
Reinstall Nvidia PhysX - Physxloader.dll in the complete package
- Download the "Nvidia PhysX System Software" from the Nvidia homepage. To do this, click on the green "Download" button and then on "Agree & Download".
- Now run the downloaded EXE file. In Windows 7 or Vista, you should right-click on the file and select "Run as administrator".
- Once the installation wizard has opened, select "I accept the license agreement" - after you have read the license terms ... Then click on "Next". The "Nvidia PhysX System Software" will now be installed.
- When the installation is finished, close the window by clicking on "Finish". Now you are no longer missing the Physxloader.dll file and your computer game should start without any problems.
Physxloader.dll is still missing? - The file in the system folder
In some cases when starting the computer game there is still the error that Physxloader.dll is missing - although the software has already been reinstalled. It usually helps to manually copy the DLL file to the Windows system folder.
- Visit the website "dlldump.com" and right click on "Click Here to Download PhysXLoader.dll". Now select (depending on the browser) "Save link / destination as ...", whereupon a view for folder selection pops up.
- In the opened folder view, navigate to "C: \ Windows \ System32" (under Windows 7, XP and Vista) and press "save". Under Windows NT and 2000 you have to go to "C: \ WINNT \ System32", while with Windows 95, 98 and ME you have to select the path "C: \ Windows \ System" as download destination.
- Now you have the file Physxloader.dll in your system folder; Your game will start easily. If there are still problems, the installed graphics card driver may be out of date. You should then check this and update it if necessary.
