Planet Coaster: system requirements for PC
The amusement park simulator Planet Coaster promises great comic graphics and many effects. Accordingly, the system requirements also fail. We reveal what your PC has to do for the new strategy hit.
Planet Coaster: The minimum system requirements
Planet Coaster appeared on the market at the end of 2016 and comes for a building game with extremely high system requirements. The minimum requirements are tough:
- Processor: For Planet Coaster to start, you need at least an Intel i5-2300 or AMD FX-4300.
- Graphics card: An nVidia GTX 560 or an AMD Radeon 7850 with 2 GB of VRAM each are also a basic requirement for the game. It is important that your graphics card supports DirectX 11.
- RAM: Planet Coaster requires at least 8 GB RAM.
- Storage space: You should free up a total of 8 GB of storage space on your hard disk before installation.
Planet Coaster: The recommended system requirements
The hardware mentioned above is not enough to be able to enjoy all of the graphic splendor of Planet Coaster. Here your PC has to do much more.
- Processor: For the CPU, you should at least use an Intel i7-4770 or AMD FX-8350.
- Graphics card: An nVidia GTX 980, AMD R9 380 or another DirectX 11 graphics card with 4 GB or more VRAM is recommended.
- RAM: For the highest graphics settings, your PC should have 12 GB of RAM.
- Storage space: Here it remains with the above 8 GB.
