Play Store opens automatically - it could be because of that
If the Google Play Store opens automatically, there can be several reasons. You can find out how to fix this error in this practical tip.
Option 1: Incorrect data from the Play Store
Store data may be defective or incorrect, so it opens automatically:
- Open the settings of your smartphone and switch to app management.
- Find the "Google Play Store" and then tap the name.
- Here you have to stop the service first. To do this, tap "Force stop".
- Then you have to remove the data from the phone by tapping "Delete data" (see picture). The error should then be resolved.
Option 2: Faulty Play Store update
Perhaps you have installed an incorrect update for the Play Store:
- To do this, switch back to app management.
- Again, you need to open the Play Store settings as described above.
- Now, however, first tap the "Uninstall updates" button.
- After restarting your Android smartphone, the error should be resolved.
