Playstation Store: Pay without a credit card - is that possible?
You can pay without a credit card in the PlayStation Store. Our practical tip shows you which alternative you can use to buy on Sony's online marketplace.
Pay without a credit card: The PlayStation Network Card from retailers
If you don't have a credit card, you don't have to go without the content of the PlayStation Store. Sony introduced the PlayStation Network Card for this in 2009.
- The PlayStation Network Cards have a fixed value of 20 or 50 euros. There is a code on the card that you enter in the PlayStation Store. The corresponding amount will then be credited to your account.
- With large electronics stores such as Media Markt and Saturn, you can also pay for the PlayStation Network Cards on site.
- In addition, online retailers such as Amazon offer the cards for sale. There you then decide on a payment method of your choice and can also process the purchase via PayPal or by bank transfer.
By the way: You can also pay without a credit card in Google's Play Store.
