Pokémon GO: All badges and medals at a glance
In Pokémon GO, you can not only catch and fight Pokémon, but also collect badges. These medals are like achievements in other games. You can get them for a certain distance, for example, or when you complete your Pokédex. All Pokémon GO badges and their activation requirements can be found in our overview.
Badges in Pokémon GO: Here you will find your personal medals
You can start collecting badges as soon as you start Pokémon GO. You can find out which medals you already have via the trainer menu:
- To do this, tap your trainer profile at the bottom left and scroll down a bit.
- Here you will find all available badges and see exactly which medals you already have.
- If you tap on one of the signs, you will receive further information about your progress and the conditions for the next medal level.
- There is also a peculiarity about the catch badges, for which you have to catch a certain number of Pokémon of a certain type: If you have received a bronze medal, the probability of catching Pokémon of this type increases by 1. Medal rises by 2 and gold by 3. The developers have not yet revealed what exactly the increases mean. But one thing is certain: the more medals you collect, the easier it is to catch strong Pokémon yourself.
