Pokémon GO: Get bonus XP and items at PokeStops
At PokéStops, you will receive some items and 50 XP in Pokémon GO. With a little trick you can expand that and get bonus XP and up to eight different items. We show you exactly how this works in this practical tip.
PokéStop deluxe: bonus XP and more items in Pokémon GO
If you spin a PokéStop, you will receive between three and four items and 50 XP as standard. If you want to collect a lot, you are often tempted to visit the same PokéStop again after a while in order to get items and EP again. But that's counterproductive:
- Because every tenth PokéStop visited gives you between six and eight items and 100 XP. So you get double items.
- The only requirement for the trick: you must not visit a PokéStop twice. This resets the counter in the game. In other words: if you run ten different PokéStops in succession, you can expect numerous bonus items from the last one.
- It is not currently clear whether there is a time limit for the trick, but it is quite likely. Therefore, do not quit Pokémon GO during your visits and try to check out the ten PokéStops as quickly as possible.
Bonus XP at PokéStops: Regular gaming is worthwhile
Recently, you have not only received bonus XP and items for the tenth PokéStop, but also for the first PokéStop of the day.
- This way you get an additional 500 XP and up to six bonus items every 24 hours when you spin a PokéStop disc for the first time. The day in Pokémon GO doesn't end at midnight, but always at 12 noon.
- If you repeat this seven days in a row, you will receive a super bonus of 2, 000 XP and countless other bonus items. The maximum number is currently still unknown. However, it is clear that you often get the coveted development stones here.
In our current overview we show you which items you can get at a PokéStop.
