Pokémon GO: That brings the Plus bracelet
Pokémon GO runs primarily on the smartphone, but Nintendo has released a so-called Pokémon GO Plus bracelet. In this practical tip, we clarify what it is all about, how you use the bracelet and where you can buy it.
Pokémon GO: The Plus bracelet can do that
The Plus bracelet for Pokémon GO measures 46 x 33 x 17.5 millimeters and is worn on the wrist like a watch. It connects to your mobile phone via Bluetooth like a smartwatch.
- The Plus bracelet then notifies you of various events in the game via vibration and light signals. You can then catch Pokémon and clear PokéStops at the push of a button. You still have to pull your phone out of your pocket to fight.
- The advantage: Not only do you catch Pokémon faster, you also significantly reduce the battery consumption of the app. Although it continues to run on your smartphone and uses mobile Internet and GPS, the display no longer has to be operated.
- It can be assumed that the functions of the bracelet will be expanded regularly over time, especially if the Pokémon GO app also receives new features.
Buy Pokémon GO Plus bracelet
The Pokémon GO Plus bracelet costs 39.99 euros and can be ordered from the Nintendo Online Shop. In addition there are currently shipping costs of 4.80 euros.
- After ordering, you will receive your bracelet within 14 days - usually even a little faster.
- Before buying, however, please note that the Plus bracelet currently only works with the iPhone 5 or newer Apple cell phones and Android devices with Android 4.4 or higher.
- You also need the latest update of the Pokémon GO app to use the Plus bracelet. Update the game as usual via your app store.
