Pokemon Go: Instructions and tips for beginners
More and more players come across the app hit "Pokemon Go". We give you a practical guide so that you, as a new player, can also occupy arenas and catch all Pokemon.
1. Pokemon Go Instructions: Go to many Pokestops as a low level
At Pokestops you get many useful items, such as Pokeballs, healing potions and eggs.
- Especially if you play Pokemon Go in places where few Pokestops are available, there will be a shortage of Pokeballs quickly.
- To prevent this, you should visit as many Pokestops as possible up to Level 5, because up to the fifth level you will almost exclusively receive Pokeballs. At higher levels, you will receive a proportion of many "useless" items, such as animators and potions.
- So it can't hurt if you farm a lot of Pokestops in the low level so that you can accumulate a supply.
2. Pokemon Go Instructions: Level up quickly with lucky eggs
- You get lucky eggs in the game at certain level increases. This means that you get double experience points for half an hour.
- You get the first lucky egg at level 9. Therefore, save as many Pokemon as possible and develop as few as possible by this time.
- When you get a lucky egg, take half an hour to activate the egg and develop all the Pokemon in your inventory. Since these Pokemon will still be too weak for arenas, you can develop all pocket monsters in good conscience. Taubsis, hornlius and caterpillars in particular give you a lot of XP, since they need few sweets.
- Tip: Based on the number of candies, you can already estimate how many Pokemon you can develop. With the "Send" option you can convert excess Pokemon into candies, which you can then use again to develop them.
3. Pokemon Go Instructions: Throw away excess items
- Since many of your Pokémon will initially be too weak to compete in arenas, it makes sense not to accumulate potions and animators when your pocket is full.
- Make room for pokeballs and sometimes throw away all potions and animators. As soon as you come to level regions where you can attack arenas, they quickly accumulate again.
- You can keep and always use raspberries. With stronger Pokemon you can use them to increase the chances of catching. After each ball thrown, you have the option of giving a berry again.
4. Pokemon Go Guide: Don't waste stardust
- The stardust is used to amplify your Pokemon. However, many players already use this with comparatively weak Pokemon to have the latest strongest Pokemon.
- The semicircle above your Pokemon shows how close your Pokemon is to your current level limit. However, when you level up, the point in the semicircle shifts again, since stronger Pokemon are possible with your new level.
- Stardust is ultimately interesting for players who want to add several thousand WP to Pokemon to fight or hold arenas. At lower levels, however, the dust is relatively useless.
5. Pokemon Go Guide: Gotta catch 'em all!
- The well-known Pokemon subtitle is to be understood literally in the app. Catch every Pokemon that appears in front of you.
- Even if it's the 300th Taubsi, you win XP and can use the Pokemon for luck egg leveling.
