Pokemon GO: Find items - so you get them all
Many Pokemon can only be caught with the right items in the popular Augmented Reality app Pokemon GO. This overview shows you where you can find which items and what they do.
Receive items in Pokemon GO - here you will find all Pokeballs
- Pokeball: Right at the start you will get some balls in Pokemon GO. You can get these afterwards in Pokestops, arenas and in the Pokeshop for money.
- Superball: From level 12 there are automatically 20 superballs in the inventory. They are also rarely found in pokestops and arenas.
- Hyperball: As soon as you have reached level 20, hyperballs are added. These are also rarely found in Pokestops and arenas.
- Master ball: This ball is currently not available in the game.
- The master ball - like the other balls - may be given as a win at later Nintendo events. It is still unclear whether they can be bought in the shop in the future.
Potions and animators - these items will keep your Pokemon fit
In battles, your Pokemon may lose strength or be knocked out. There are potions and invigorators to spice up the monster again.
- Potion: From level 5, you receive potions that restore 20 HP. These are available at level-ups, at pokestops and arenas as well as in the shop.
- Super Potion: This restores 50 HP after all. This potion is rarely found in Pokestops and arenas.
- Hypertrank: Your Pokemon will get a full 200 KP again. So far, this has also rarely been available in Pokestops and arenas.
- Animator: If your Pokemon loses all KP, you can only get it back on with an animator. You can get this from level 5 in Pokestops and arenas.
- Top Invigorator: Replenishes all of your Pokémon's CP after a lost battle. This is automatically available in inventory from level 26 and is then rarely available in Pokestops and arenas.
Tip: Pokemons are easier to catch with these secret tricks
With these items you can catch Pokemon more effectively
To make Pokemon easier to catch, there are special items like berries and smoke.
- Smoke: At the beginning and during level-ups you always get smoke that attracts Pokemon. You can also buy smoke in the shop.
- Raspberries: Throw a berry at a Pokemon, it will be distracted and easier to catch. From level 8 there are the first berries, after that with every further level-up. In the meantime you can get the berries at Pokestops and in arenas.
- Eggs: This is where Pokemon are hidden, which you can hatch together with an egg incubator and power in the legs. Eggs are usually available in Pokestops.
- Lucky Egg: With a Lucky Egg you get double XP for half an hour. The lucky eggs were previously only seen in the shop. You will also receive one every now and then when you level up.
- Egg incubator: You get an incubator right at the start, later also with level-ups. You can also buy additional incubators in the shop.
- Lock module: This item lures Pokemon towards a Pokestop for half an hour. From level 8 you get a lock module and then for further level-ups. The item is also available in the shop.
- Camera: You get this right at the start and can use it to photograph Pokemon.
New Pokemon items: berries and development stones
- With the new Pokemon update, you can get a Sanana berry and Nanabberry in addition to the well-known Rimmihbeere. Both new berries are a little rarer and can be farmed at pokestops and in arenas.
- Niantic has also taken care of the various developments by adding the new development stones. You get all development stones from Pokestops, but the chance of getting one is very low.
- You can also get a development stone if you spin a Pokestop on seven consecutive days.
