Pokemon Go was the mobile gaming highlight last summer. This practical tip shows you how to set up a second account for use.
Pokemon Go: create two accounts - how it works
- When you log in to the game for the first time, you have the choice between registering with a Google account and registering with a Trainer Club account.
- If you choose the latter, your scores will not be saved on Google, but on the servers of Niantic, the game service provider.
- Now there are two ways to create a second account.
- Either log in with your Google account and then create a Trainer Club account. You can now easily switch back and forth between these two accounts.
- Alternatively, you can simply store two Google accounts on your device that you use to play Pokemon Go and switch between these two accounts.
Pokemon Go: switch between accounts
If you have created two accounts, each with a saved game, the question now is how you can switch between them.
- To do this, first open the Pokemon Go app.
- In this you have to open the settings via the Pokeball and then the gear symbol.
- At the bottom you can unsubscribe from Pokemon Go.
- When re-registering, you have the choice between the two previously created accounts.
Pokemon Go: second account - is this allowed?
Finally, we answer the question of whether a second account is allowed under the "Terms of Service" (TOS).
- At Pokemon Go, the "Second Account" topic does not appear in these guidelines.
- So it doesn't seem to be strictly forbidden.
