Birch pollen count: what you should be aware of in case of an allergy
The intensity of the allergy to birch is classified as very high. Therefore, allergy sufferers should know exactly when the pollen count of a birch is. We will explain this to you in this article.
Birch pollen count - you should know that
The pollen count of the birch can change every year because the flowering time of the plants depends on the weather. So take a look at our pollen chart.
- The birch blooms from a temperature of around 15 degrees.
- This means that the birch pollen season can begin in February and is usually over at the end of July.
- April is the main flowering time for the tree and therefore also the month when the allergy usually occurs the most.
- Note that the first signs of allergy can already appear, although it is not yet a pollen season. Allergens can be in the birch earlier.
- You should therefore avoid being close to the trees.
