Postbank customers can manage their accounts via Postbank online banking. We show you how it works and explain the most important functions.
Postbank Online Banking simply explained
- Open the website of Postbank Online Banking and log in with your data.
- This requires either a user name and password or an account number and PIN. In this case, the PIN is not the PIN you need at the ATM, but your online banking PIN.
- Once you have logged in, you will see a countdown at the top right. This counts down eight minutes after each click on the website. If you are not active during this time, you will be logged out automatically. To log yourself out, click on the "Exit" button at the top right.
- Furthermore, you can see the items Account overview, Turnover, Order lists, Service, Message box and Settings in the menu bar at the top. These are now explained in the following sections.
Account Summary
- In the account overview you have an overview of all your accounts. So you can see your current account balances and recent transactions here.
- On the right side you can make a transfer or a standing order (see picture).
revenues
- In the sales you will find all account movements of the last 10 to 100 days. To change the displayed time span, slide the controller responsible for it to the right.
- If you scroll down, you can download the sales as a PDF, CSV or XML file. There is also a link where you can access your account statements.
- In addition to some transfers, you can see other setting options on the right-side, for example, objecting to direct debits or making a transfer again.
