Powerpoint: create slideshow - how it works
You can also create a slideshow with PowerPoint. In this practical tip, we will show you how.
Powerpoint: create slideshow
It is best to move all of the images that you want to display in the slideshow to a separate folder in advance.
- Open a presentation in PowerPoint or create a new one.
- Go to "Insert" and here under "Illustrations" to "Photo Album".
- In the opened menu, select "New Photo Album".
- Now under "Insert image from" click on "File / Data medium".
- Select the storage location of your created folder and mark all pictures in the folder with [CTRL] + [A]. Then click on "Paste".
- Your slide show is created via "Create". You can also make your slideshow a little more special. Do not click "Create" for this. In the next section, we will show you what options are available for the slide show.
Powerpoint - make your slideshow more individual
In the "Photo Album" window you can make some settings.
- Change the order of the images in the image list using the arrow symbols. You can delete duplicate or unwanted pictures from the show. Mark the picture in the list and click on "Remove".
- Using the icons under the "Preview" you can rotate individual images and increase / decrease the brightness or contrast.
- Under "Album layout", select specific "image layouts" such as "Fit to slide". Different designs can also be loaded into the slideshow via "Browse", making the show more attractive.
