PowerPoint: Insert graphic in header or footer
Graphics can enhance any PowerPoint presentation, even in the header and footer. We show you how to insert the graphic there.
PowerPoint: Insert graphic in header or footer
The footer is not mandatory to insert a graphic in the header or footer. Alternatively, you can simply drag the graphic to the desired location on the slide by hand.
- Switch to the "Insert" tab above and click on the "Header and footer" button under the "Text" tab.
- Now activate the desired functions here. In this example we only activate the "Footer" option and write any text into it.
- If you then click the "Apply" button, the footer is only inserted on the current slide. With "Take over for everyone", all pages receive the footer.
- You can now insert your graphic into PowerPoint using the "Insert" tab and the "Images" function.
- Then adjust the size of the graphic and place it in the footer. The marking of the footer helps you with an exact arrangement (see picture).
- Now copy the graphic using the key combination "Ctrl" + "C" and switch to the next slide. With the key combination "Ctrl" + "V" the graphic is inserted in the same place.
