Convert PowerPoint presentation to PDF
If you would like to convert a PowerPoint presentation into a PDF, you can do this both with PowerPoint and via a service in the browser. We'll show you how it's done.
Save PowerPoint presentation as PDF
- Powerpoint 2013, 2010, 2003: Open the PowerPoint presentation and click on "File" in the top left corner of the screen and then on "Save As". With PowerPoint 2007 you will find the "Office" button instead of the "File" option.
- To keep both files, for example, append the letters "PDF" to the file name. Alternatively, you can also select another storage location.
- You will find the file type under the file name. At the top of the list you will find the entry "PDF" (see picture).
- If you then click the "Save" button, the PowerPoint presentation will be converted into a PDF document.
Convert PowerPoint presentation in the browser to PDF
If PowerPoint is not available, you can use a service in the browser to convert files.
- Open the ExcelToPdfOnline.com website.
- Select above that you want to convert from a PowerPoint file to an Excel file.
- Now click on the "Select file" button, search for the file and click on the "Open" button.
- Enter your email address and remove the checkmark below it in order not to subscribe to a newsletter.
- When you click the "Convert" button, the file is uploaded, converted and sent to you. This takes 10 to 60 seconds, depending on the size of the file. The finished PDF can now be found in your inbox.
