Convert PowerPoint presentation to video - is that possible?
For example, if you want to publish your PowerPoint presentation, you can convert it into a video. We'll show you how it's done.
Convert PowerPoint presentation to video
- Open the PowerPoint presentation and click the "File" tab in the top left of the screen.
- Select the "Export" option and click "Create Video".
- Under "Computer and HD displays" you have three options. The option already selected has a resolution of 960 x 720. For "Internet and DVD" and "Portable Devices", the resolution is further reduced. The image quality is reduced and the file size becomes smaller.
- Below this is the option "Do not use recorded timings and comments". Thus, each slide is shown in the video for 5 seconds. You can adjust this duration according to your wishes below the selection. Select the "Record timings and comments" option to adjust the slide duration and add comments if necessary.
- Once you have made your settings, click on the "Create video" button. Now you are asked to choose a storage location and a file name.
- If you then click the "Save" button, the video is created and saved in MP4 format.
