Presentation with Zoho Show - a tutorial
Using our "Zoho Show" tutorial, you can design your own presentations. You can then save this and use it for meetings or other occasions.
Create a Zoho show presentation
After creating a presentation, you can select a template and accompany your presentation with overlays.
- First, log in to the Zoho website. To do this, you must either create a new user account or log in with an existing Google account.
- Click on "Create" and "Presentation" on the Zoho Docs website to create a new presentation. In the first step you can enter a name for the document and choose a template.
- Depending on which template you have chosen, some text fields are already placed and only need to be filled out by you. To do this, click on the placeholder text and insert your own data. You can also change the template afterwards under "Design"> "Topics".
Some useful functions from Zoho Show
The most common functions for creating a presentation can be found here.
- The slides are on the left. Here you can add more sheets via "+ slide" and scroll through the pages already created.
- A change between landscape and portrait format ensures variety among the spectators. You can rotate your presentation under "Design"> "Alignment".
- With the "Transition" function you can add transitions to slides.
- You can also save the created presentation as a "Microsoft PowerPoint" or "OpenOffice" presentation on your computer under "File"> "Export as".
- You can also use pictures or videos in your lecture. Click on "Insert" and import your pictures via upload or via Flickr and Picasa. Videos have not yet been uploaded, so you have to use YouTube videos here.
- With a right click on one of the slides, you can select styles for your slides under "Change layout". You can use this again and again at the beginning of a new topic, for example.
