Export presets from Adobe Lightroom Classic CC
Depending on the Lightroom version, there are two ways you can export your presets.
- In the German version of the program you will search in vain for the setting options for "Presets". The option is called "Templates".
- Go to the "Develop" tab in Lightroom and right click on the preset you want to export.
- From the new menu, select "Show in Explorer".
- The corresponding .xmp file is displayed in a folder on your PC. You can now send this to others, for example, by email.
- If you don't have this menu, open Adobe Lightroom Preferences. On Windows systems you will find this under "Edit" on MacOS under "Lightroom"
- The second tab of the presets deals exclusively with the templates. From the Location submenu, choose Show Lightroom Development Preferences.
- Your Explorer opens again and opens the directory where all your presets are saved. To select a specific one, you would have to click through a few folders.
