Prey: Release and system requirements for PC
The action game Prey will be released in 2017 for the PC. In this article we will tell you when the exact release date is and which system requirements your computer has to meet.
Prey: release date and minimum system requirements
From 05 May 2017, action fans can dive into the FPS highlight Prey. Official information on the requirements is not yet available, but rumors say that the graphics splendor of the game will demand a lot from your computer. Even the minimal system requirements are tough:
- System: Prey will probably require Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 in the 64-bit version.
- CPU: The basic requirement will probably be an Intel Core i5-2400 with 3.1 GHz or an AMD FX-8320.
- RAM: You will need at least 8 GB of RAM to start Prey.
- Graphics card: Nothing works without a graphics card with at least 2 GB VRAM. The GeForce GTX 670 and the Radeon HD 7870 meet these requirements.
- Storage space: Prey will need around 55 GB of storage.
Prey: Recommended system requirements for PC
While the requirements for the operating system and storage space remain the same, the recommended system requirements for the other hardware will probably be even higher:
- CPU: Rumor has it that Prey will require an Intel Core i7-3770 4-core with 3.4 GHz or an AMD FX-8350 for high graphics settings.
- RAM: 8 to 16 GB are considered probable for the RAM.
- Graphics card: You will not be able to avoid a graphics card with 4 GB VRAM such as the GeForce GTX 970 or the Radeon R9 290.
