Various problems can arise with PayPal when you want to receive or send money. In this article, we show which reasons for the error can exist. Of course, we also deliver the right solution.
PayPal doesn't work - a local problem?
If PayPal no longer works, the problem may either be with your PC or with the PayPal servers. First test your own computer:
- Check whether you are on the right PayPal page and take a look at the address bar of your browser.
- The address "//paypal.com" must be located here. You should definitely be connected via "https" so that your data is encrypted.
- If PayPal's address is correct but the page does not load, there is probably a problem with your internet connection. So make sure you are connected to a working network.
- To do this, you can simply open any other page in your browser.
- If the error persists, you can use a different browser. Incorrect settings often hinder the payment service.
- If you have successfully carried out the above tips, you should of course make sure that you have enough money in the selected account or have set up a bank account.
PayPal does not work - server problem?
If the problem is not with your computer, you will probably find the problem with PayPal itself:
- For example, the service is not available if, for example, maintenance work is carried out.
- Often the page is temporarily unavailable due to a lot of hits. To find out if PayPal is down, read this article.
- In all of these cases, you have no choice but to wait. It's best to try again in a few hours.
