With the right content, you can get a relatively high resolution on your PS4. We show you which content provides which resolutions.

Overview of PlayStation 4 resolutions

• The PlayStation 4 enables a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. This corresponds to the 4K (Ultra HD) standard.
• However, this resolution is only possible for images and videos. From 2016, Blu-Rays should also be playable in 4K.
• Games can only be viewed in Full HD (1080p). Some games are only available with 720p.
