Reset network password
If you can’t remember your password, just reset your password. You should have a web browser ready on any device for this, as you need access to your emails.
- Log in to your user account and press up in the control to select the menu item "Settings".
- Now select "PSN" in the list and "User information" in the next window.
- The next step is whether you are already logged in with your PSN ID. If not, select "Register". If you are logged in, you must first log out and then log in again.
- Then press the triangle button to enter your PSN ID and date of birth. Now you only have to confirm your entry to receive an email with a link.
- Open the email on your computer, smartphone or tablet and open the link. Here you have to enter some more information.
- Finally, you have to enter a new password and confirm it. The next time you log in, you can now use your new password.
