PS4: Sleep Mode Issues After Firmware Update
Many users reported some problems immediately after the release of PS4 firmware 2.0. The biggest problem is in sleep mode.
- Some consoles no longer wake from sleep or start after the power is cut.
- In the meantime, update 2.01 and the new successor 2.02 have been released. The updates are designed to address both sleep and performance issues. You can read more about this in the next paragraph.
- If you have not yet installed the update, switch off the console if necessary instead of putting it into sleep mode. To do this, press and hold the console's power button for about 10 seconds.
PS4: Fix sleep mode problems with update 2.02
- Start the PlayStation 4 and select the category "System software update" in the "Settings". Here you can check for updates and install them.
