- Both consoles still only have a Blu-ray drive without UHD support, which is why UHD films cannot be watched for example.
Conclusion: comparison of consoles
- If you already own a 4K / UHD television or want to buy one soon, it is worth upgrading to a PS4 Pro. Most upcoming games will also support 4K resolution.
- If you own PlayStation VR, it also makes sense to switch to the Pro version, since most VR games are displayed with higher performance.
- If, on the other hand, you have a Full HD TV for a long time and do not place so much emphasis on hyper-realistic graphics, the PS4 Slim is more worthwhile.
- In addition, many of the titles released so far have not yet received a 4K patch or one will ever be submitted later. If PS4 titles are not adapted, a PS4 Pro is also superfluous.
