- Like any other online service, the PSN can fail. This is then only partially or no longer accessible for many users. In this case, the console mostly reports the error code "NW-31201-7".
- The reason for the downtimes are often technical errors, maintenance work or a rush to the PSN server. For example, a release of new software that generates many requests for the PSN can bring the server to its knees.

- First, you should check whether your own hardware is not causing a network problem. Try surfing a website with the console browser. How to rule out that your console is not properly connected to the Internet.

- If there is a server problem, you should not try again every second. This only puts additional strain on the servers. It is best to wait half an hour and then try again.
