PUK blocked - what to do?

If you enter your PIN number incorrectly 3 times, you will be asked for the PUK. If you enter it incorrectly 7 times, the SIM card is blocked. We'll tell you what else you can do in this practical tip.

PUK blocked: Now there is only one solution

You will find the PUK number in your SIM card documents. It is located directly below the field with the SIM number. If you have blocked the PUK, you can only do one thing:

• The PUK is blocked after seven incorrect entries. Then the SIM card is unusable.
• You have to collect or order a new SIM card from your network provider. Many network providers will give you a new SIM card immediately in the store. The cost of a new SIM is around 25 to 35 euros.
