QNAP: Set up jDownloader on the NAS - how it works
You can also use the jDownloader conveniently on the QNAP-NAS. We show you exactly how this works in this practical tip.
QNAP: Set up jDownloader on the NAS - how it works
- Download the required script here to your PC.
- Load the script on your NAS into a folder for which you have permissions.
- Then connect to the NAS with PuTTY and change to the directory where the script is located. Run it with "./jd2_qnap_installer.sh".
- Confirm the error message that appears with "Y". The next step is to enter the username and password of your MyjDownloader account. You can create the account here.
- Wait a few minutes, and then press the CTRL + C key combination. You then have to install the jDownloader.
- Enter the command "./JDownloader2.qpkg" in PuTTY and confirm with [ENTER].
- After successful installation, you can log in to the interface. In "Settings"> "Profile Settings" you have to specify the NAS folder for downloads.
- Finally click on "Reset browser command line". You can then use jDownloader.
