Merge QuarkXPress documents - so it'll work
If you want to merge QuarkXPress documents, you can import all or individual pages in a few simple steps. We'll explain how it works.
How to merge QuarkXPress documents
- Open both documents in QuarkXPress.
- Now click on "Split window vertically" in "Window" to display both documents side by side.
- Now select one of the windows and click on Thumbnails in the "View" menu. Alternatively, you can use the key combination [Shift] + [F6]. You have to do this for both windows.
- Now all pages are in the miniature view and can be dragged and dropped into the other document.
- However, this only works for pages with the same page format. However, you can make improvements in the "Page layout" menu, for example by dragging the "A sample page" onto both documents (see picture).
You can also use the QuarkXPress paid software for free. We show you exactly how to do this in this guide. An overview of various layout software can be found here.
