Sources in PowerPoint: How it works
Regardless of whether at work, at the university or at school - the source must be stated in a PowerPoint presentation. In this practical tip, we will show you how to do this correctly.
Powerpoint: Correctly citing sources - this is how you proceed
- For online sources, enter the name of the website (e.g. chip: practical tips), followed by the direct URL from which you have the information (e.g. //www.chip.de/praxistipps/test-url.html),
- You must also indicate when you last accessed this online resource. If you have only recently opened all links, you can write at the end of the sources "All links were last accessed on 02/01/03 at 04:05 am".
- If literature was used in your presentation, you must specify it separately from the online sources.
- Enter the title of the book, the author, the publisher, the year of publication and the pages used here.
- Generally, the sources are always listed on the last slide of the presentation.
- If you have already linked sources as footnotes, you still have to indicate them in the source directory.
- Note: Find out in advance whether other requirements apply to you, since there are often special requirements at schools and universities for the design of presentations.
