Call back service from O2: How to avoid long hotline waiting times
If you have ever been annoyed by long waiting times in the O2 hotline, you will be pleased with the new callback service from the telephone provider. We show how you can use the service.
Long hotline waiting times - not with O2 call back service
For many O2 customers, the hotline was barely reachable last year, so customer service was overwhelmed. The reason for the strong increase in customer inquiries was the change in numerous former E-Plus customers. Although the situation has now eased somewhat, O2 has set up a callback service.
- In order to use the callback, you must have the current version of the Mein O2 app installed on your iOS or Android smartphone. Otherwise the function is not displayed.
- In the main menu, open the "Help & Contact" item. There you will find the item "o2 callback service" in the "Contact" submenu.
- As a time window, O2 offers the time from Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- However, the new service does not guarantee a timely recall. It can also happen that you get the message "Unfortunately no dates available".
- The callback service is currently only available to contract customers. It has not yet been determined whether and when prepaid customers can also use the service.
