Write Roman numbers in LibreOffice - how it works
There are two ways to write Roman numbers in LibreOffice. We'll show you both options.
LibreOffice: Write Roman Numbers
- If you use the standard font "Times New Roman", you can simply enter the Roman numerals using the keyboard
- Simply use the following capital letters: I = 1, V = 5, X = 10, L = 50, C = 100, D = 500, M = 1000.
Insert Roman numerals in LibreOffice using "special characters"
- Click on the "Insert" menu item above and select the "Special characters" there.
- Select the "Times New Roman" font and the "Latin base" subset.
- Now click on the respective letters for the Roman numbers one after the other until you have completely entered your number series.
- The "OK" button closes the window and the Roman numerals are inserted in the document.
