Listen to the radio with Windows Media Player - how it works
If you want to listen to the radio over the Internet, this also works with Windows Media Player. We'll show you how it's done.
Windows Media Player: Listen to Internet radio
- Open the Windows Media Player via the Start menu or simultaneously press the "Windows" + "R" keys and enter "wmplayer".
- Click on the button with the Windows logo and the inscription "Media Guide" at the bottom right of the window. A page now builds up in the media player, this may take a few seconds.
- Here you can see the blue button "Internet Radio Guide" in the middle.
- Here you get an overview of all available radio stations. Either search above in a category like "Jazz" and "Top 40", or click on "Find radio station".
- If you have found a suitable one, click on "Listen" to start the radio stream.
